CS Exam Specifications


The Certified Supervisor (CS) Certification exam consists of 90 multiple-choice questions covering all chapters and content area and must be completed within 2 hours (120 minutes).

CS Exam results are shown immediately on-screen and confirmed by email. ICPM processes exam grades monthly and provides detailed feedback help test takers address areas of weakness through additional study and professional development.

The Certified Supervisor (CS) Certification is a flexible, performance skills based program of learning that was designed by ICPM to provide supervisors and supervisor aspirants with an opportunity to develop supervisory competencies.   

This program enhances skill development in leadership Skills, critical thinking, the supervisor's Role, problem Solving, team works, ustomer service, motivating People, monitoring and improving Results, coaching, setting expectations, and human resources management. The program encourages developmental communications between employee to facilitate transfer of learning to the job.

Results and Grading

Test takers receive immediate pass or fail results on-screen and by email. Exams are officially processed on the 16th of each month or the next business day. Detailed feedback that highlights strengths and weaknesses in specific content areas is sent by email after this grading. Test takers who pass the exam can use this feedback to help them address areas of weakness, while those who fail can use the feedback to prepare to retake the exam.

New CSs will receive a CS certification packet, including two copies of their CS certificate. These packets will be sent within 4 weeks after the official results of the third and final CS exam have been sent.
